Classes in hand knitting are provided on a “do-drop” basis. This means you can come in anytime and get the knitting help you need, rather than trying to learn the ropes in a larger group of novice knitters. This allows for more personalized attention and results in faster mastery of knitting... a good thing, as there are many fine yarns you’ll want to turn your attentions to, once you get going. We can also provide pattern assistance if you’ve fallen in love with a particular yarn but can’t find an ‘excuse’ to take it home. (Always the enablers!)
There are loads of fun sewing patterns on the market right now, and we have the full range of Amy Butler’s designs. Classes are in the works for basic sewing, and we also offer patchworking classes for both beginners and more advanced piecers. Class size is limited to four students for most classes. Class fees are due upon registration, and payable to the instructor directly. A “student discount” applies for all materials and patterns purchased related to the sewing class.
Come see us at the Hoosier Hills Fiber Event at the Johnson Co. Fairgrounds the first weekend in June. Call the shop for more details. 317 736-0012
Want to learn to spin your own yarn? We’ll soon have a well-practiced instructor joining us for spin-ins at the shop. Call and register your excitement at learning an ancient art that will leave your friends and family utterly mystified. You know... ‘speechless’.
