Knitting

Classes in hand knitting are provided on a “do-drop” basis. This means you can come in anytime and get the knitting help you need, rather than trying to learn the ropes in a larger group of novice knitters.  This allows for more personalized attention and results in faster mastery of knitting... a good thing, as there are many fine yarns you’ll want to turn your attentions to, once you get going.  We can also provide pattern assistance if you’ve fallen in love with a particular yarn but can’t find an ‘excuse’ to take it home. (Always the enablers!)

Sewing

Sewing and patchworking classes are available at Clementine's Dry Goods. Class size is limited based on the instructor and the complexity of the project, but we have many talented teachers here to share their skills, including an area whiz-bang of a woman who sews beautiful children's clothes and simple garments pattern-free.
Call for classes, or to schedule your own. Class fees are due upon registration. A "student discount" applies to all purchases made for a particular class.

Pssst. Hey, you…

Rug hooking and spinning are coming to Clementine's. If you're interested, leave a message at the shop and we'll put you in contact with instructors in the area, or let you know when they'll be teaching in-house.
